Proven techniques and strategies from Grammy-winning and Platinum-selling engineers.
I always feel a wave of nostalgia when I learn that an important studio has closed its doors. I always saw them as temples. And every time one closes, an important part of music history is lost.
I was lucky enough to learn inside those studios, watching the very best at work. I stood next to mixers and producers who won Grammys and sold platinum records. I shared sessions, conversations and moments that very few people ever get to live.
But the learning didn't stop there. With my podcast, I kept going deeper. Sitting down with mixers, producers and engineers, with time on our side. Long, unfiltered conversations with no session pressure and no clock running. The techniques behind the records you've heard a thousand times. The decisions nobody talks about. The advice they wish someone had given them when they were starting out.
I learned so much from all of it that I had to write it down and share it with you. 3 books, each with 99 of the best tips, techniques, strategies and lessons.
3 books, each aimed at a different stage of your journey. Whether you've been mixing for 1 year or 20, you'll find things you didn't know and can't wait to try.
All 3 books are only available in digital format (ebook).
Every page has one tip, technique or piece of advice. Explained simply, straight to the point. No filler. Just things you can open the book to and apply on your next mix.
There are moments when you feel lost while mixing, or when you just need a little inspiration. One of these tips might be exactly what you need to find your way back.
It's not just what they do. It's how they think. Once you understand the mindset behind the decisions, you'll approach every mix differently.

I have been mixing for more than 25 years between Latin America and the United States. Along the way I had the chance to work alongside, share studios and spend hours in conversation with some of the best engineers and producers in the world. People with Grammys and platinum records who gave me lessons I am thankful for every day I sit behind a console.
A few years ago I started Agartha Podcast because I saw too much misinformation out there. I wanted to bring real knowledge straight from the best. What I learned from those conversations changed the way I mix, and I felt the need to share it.
